Manon StankovskiBorn in 1996 into a family of musicians in Vienna, Manon Stankovski started playing the violin at the age of 7, after a few years of piano lessons. She won several local competitions before starting her studies at Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien in 2014 in the class of Lieke Te Winkel. As an exchange student, she studied at the Royal College of Music in London in the class of Detlef Hahn in 2017. She got to work under great conductors such as Vladimir Ashkenazy, Vasily Petrenko and Semyon Bychkov, and has been touring all over Europe as a member of the Vienna Youth Orchestra, EUYO (European Youth Orchestra) and the GMJO (Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra). With a passion for chamber music got to perform in festivals like Domaine Forget in Canada, Hvide Sande Festival in Denmark and con anima festival in Austria. In addition, she worked with musicians such as Ernst Kovacic, Benjamin Schmid, Reinhard Latzko and Julian Rachlin. She is currently studying with Albena Danailova, concertmaster of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.
