Violinist Emily Nebel is enjoying a varied career as orchestral leader, recitalist and chamber musician. Over the last few years she has gained recognition as an orchestral leader across Europe, appearing with the London Symphony Orchestra, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Royal Scottish National Orchestra and Staatstheater Darmstadt as well as other ensembles in Germany, Sweden and Belgium.
She has appeared as soloist with several orchestras, including the Cleveland Orchestra and Phoenix Symphony, as well as the Academy Symphony Orchestra with John Wilson for a performance of Walton’s Violin Concerto in the spring of 2019. An avid chamber musician, Emily has been invited to numerous chamber music seminars, most notably Prussia Cove International Musicians Seminar and Open Chamber Music, Wye Valley Chamber Music Festival, Domaine Forget, Toronto Summer Music Festival, and Birdfoot Festival in New Orleans.
Emily lives in London since graduating from the Royal Academy of Music’s Advanced Diploma programme on the Bicentenary Scholarship Scheme. She previously studied at the Hochschule für Musik in Frankfurt, Rice University in Houston, the Cleveland Institute of Music and CNSM de Paris.
