Cellist Drew Comstock completed his undergraduate studies at the New England Conservatory of Music in 2013, where he studied with Yeesun Kim. In 2015, he finished his Masters of Music at McGill University where he worked with Brian Manker. He has performed in masterclass for Ralph Kirshbaum, Phillipe Muller, Laurence Lesser, and David Geringas, and Pieter Wispelwey. As a chamber musician, he has worked with members of the Takacs, Alban Berg, Miro, and Borromeo String Quartets. This year, Drew has performed alongside David Geringas, Barry Shiffman, as well as the principal members of the Canadian Opera Company. Drew is currently pursuing an Artist Diploma at the Glenn Gould School under Desmond Hoebig and Andres Diaz under the generous patronage of the Temerty Family Foundation Scholarships.
